Downloadable eBooks, audiobooks and music are available through Overdrive’s Download Destination. Through Download Destination you can check out and download books and music from the library collection to your mobile device or computer. And there are no fines with digital downloads!

Romulus Public Library patrons have access to hundreds of electronic magazines through a new program called Zinio. Download magazines on a variety of topics including fashion, news, nature, cooking and sports–all for free! Available to patrons with an active library card beginning with the 29022 prefix.
Login with your library card and download and keep up to 3 free MP3 songs per week on your computer or mobile device! Songs downloaded from Freegal may also be uploaded into iTunes. You can also enjoy 3 hours of free streaming of songs per week on their website too. Build a playlist and listen to your favorites!
MeLCat & Databases
Items not found in the Library’s online catalog can be requested through the Michigan eLibrary catalog (MelCat). MeLCat allows patrons to search for, request, and renew items from a catalog of more than 26 million items from over 250 libraries statewide, including public, academic, school and special libraries. Read full text articles from magazines and newspapers; find current reference sources; use advanced search functions with MeLCat.
